from page one news flash Bob Ironfield who auditioned a very young Bill Nelson for his band "The Teenagers" in the late sixties tracked down what may be the earliest pictures of Bill Nelson from 1966. Bob's band "The Teenagers" was going strong in 1963 as some of the photos show, and by 1966 Bill is shown with his original guitar, a few months before Global Village was formed and Bill recorded his first notes at Holyground. More pictures will appear on the Holyground site over the next few weeks. Bill's first recordings are all released on the CD "ELECTROTYPE" available from Holyground.
